Compensation & Schedule
- $18–$20 / hour
- Monday - Friday | availability for an 8-hour shift between 8 am - 8 pm EST or 7 am – 7 pm CST

The Patient Account Representative supports patients in accessing essential therapies by coordinating benefits, authorizations, and financial assistance. Success in this role is defined by ensuring timely treatment access, accurate account management, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities
Act as primary point of contact for patients regarding insurance coverage, benefits, and account questionsVerify insurance eligibility, secure prior authorizations, and support appeals processesCoordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and specialty pharmacies to streamline careEducate patients on available financial assistance programs and provide empathetic supportMaintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulationsMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or patient financial services strongly preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex insurance details clearlyProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHR or patient management systemsMust reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth areaAbility to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining organization and accuracyCore Tools & Systems
