About The Position We are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a dynamic locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This role commences on Nov 17, 2025, and spans a 12-week period, offering full-time coverage from Monday to Sunday. Shifts are from 8 am to 8 pm weekdays, with weekend hours slightly adjusted. This position involves a variety of urgent care procedures including laceration closures, abscess incision and drainage, as well as interpreting X-rays and EKGs. Job Details Location : Tennessee Start Date : Nov 17, 2025 LOA : 12 weeks Provider Type Needed : Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Monday-Friday : 8 am - 8 pm Saturday-Sunday : 8 am - 7 pm Responsibilities and Duties Perform essential procedures such as laceration closure and abscess incision and drainage. Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays and EKGs. Provide comprehensive care to patients starting from 3 months old. Manage cases related to workers' compensation; DOT certification is advantageous. Utilize the Practice Velocity EMR system for documentation and management. Additional Information Required Board Certifications : Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care. Must hold a valid Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license.
