Senior Mechanical Engineer

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a positive, team-oriented, stable and highly self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with the below attributes and skillsets:

• 7+ years’ experience in the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) industry - (Prior MEP experience required).
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
• Active Professional Engineering Licensure (if not in Texas, with the ability to obtain licensure in the State of Texas via committee application in a timely manner).
• Ability to take personal responsibility for quality and accuracy of work product.
• Revit experience desired.
• Proficiency in mechanical system design and developing the technical specifications for projects under their care.
• The ability to thrive in a team-oriented, casual environment.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for quality design work

This position will have the opportunity to design mechanical systems for exciting new construction and retrofit projects, with a focus on mission critical facility design. Projects will be multi-discipline, and the ability to adeptly coordinate with other disciplines is required. The ideal candidate will produce drawing markups and specifications; coordinate design requirements with other disciplines, as well as act as the Lead Engineer for the mechanical discipline on assigned projects by reviewing designs and calculations for accuracy and quality and assisting in the overall efforts to effectively manage project quality, schedule and budget.
