Overview :

Clinch Valley Medical Center is a 175-bed acute care hospital with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. This role provides care in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Nursery, and Postpartum units, with float requirements as needed based on census. The OB unit typically has less than 15 deliveries per month.

Patient Population : Level 3 OB

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum 1–1.5 years; OB L&D and Nursery experience preferred

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or higher), STABLE (for Nursery)

Float : Must float to Nursery and Postpartum if units are closed due to census

Unit Information :

Beds : 3 L&D, 9 OB, 14 Nursery, 3 Intermediate Nursery

Patient Ratios : Per A1 Guidelines

Equipment : Standard OB unit equipment

Ideal Candidate :

Skilled in general OB, L&D, and Nursery care

Comfortable working in low-volume, high-quality care settings

Team player with strong patient safety focus and flexibility to float
