Dates of Coverage : ASAP until we hire a full timer Schedule : - M-F 7a-4p - 3 weeknights per week 4p-7a - Sat / Sun 7a-7a call Job Details : - Reason for Coverage : Gaps while we recruit a full time surgeon - Practice Setting : Hospital - Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day : 5Trauma Level / Designation : Level 1 Trauma - Annual ER Volume : 80KPercentage of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital : 35%Total Number of Beds : 617Documentation System / EMR : Epic - Description of OR Staff : Full compliment - Patient Age Demographic : Primarily Adult / Geri but occasionally child / adolescent - Provider Must be Local - Procedures Required : Trauma Cases ADULT, Trauma Cases GERIATRIC, PENETRATING Trauma Cases, BLUNT Trauma Cases, Chest Tube Insertion Laparoscopic - Procedures Required : Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy OnCall : 3 nights per week and weekends Weekend Description : Two weekend shifts Sat / Sunday for 24 hours from 7am to next day 7am Certifications : ACLS (AHA), Board Certified, DEA State Licenses : Connecticut
