OR RN – Key Responsibilities\n\nMaintain professional image and provide excellent patient, visitor, and team interactions.\n\nAssess patient needs using history, observation, exams, and diagnostics.\n\nDelegate, supervise, and evaluate team members; respond in urgent situations.\n\nDeliver nursing care per Plan of Care and physician orders.\n\nComplete Safe Surgery checklist per service standards.\n\nAccurately document all care in a timely manner.\n\nUse appropriate safety equipment to protect patient and staff.\n\nPrepare and position patient for surgery; prep OR for procedures.\n\nServe as liaison to family and operating team.\n\nSupport efficient daily department operations.\n\nParticipate in professional growth and educational activities.\n\nAssist with supplies, equipment, and circulating duties efficiently.\n\nParticipate in assigned on-call duties as scheduled.\n\nUtilize computer programs for patient care documentation.
