Service-Oriented Billing Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a service-oriented Billing Customer Service Representative with a strong background in radiology billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of insurance and patient billing, and experience handling patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding bills, insurance claims, and payment status
- Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and effectively explain them to patients
- Manage patient billing, collections, and payment processing
- Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve claim issues and discrepancies
- Utilize billing software (with MergeRIS experience strongly preferred) to process and track billing activities
- Provide accurate and timely customer support to patients, ensuring a positive service experience
- Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and documentation of billing activities
