About The Position

Shift : Various, primarily evenings with some potential midnight coverage, including up to two weekends per month

Hours per Shift : Varies

Experience : Minimum of one year post-licensure work experience

License : Active New York State RN License

Must-Have : Strong assessment skills, ability to perform EKGs and blood draws

Description :

Registered Nurses are responsible for diagnosing and treating patient health problems.

Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of undiagnosed conditions or complications.

Administer medications as prescribed.

Manage and deliver restorative or palliative care to patients who are ill, disabled, or dying.

Teach and counsel patients about maintaining health and preventing illness or complications.

Work as part of an interdisciplinary health care team and participate in committees to plan and implement patient care needs.

Execute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed providers.

Includes advanced practice nurses with specialized education who function in highly autonomous and specialized roles.

Work is performed within a secured facility environment.

Travel is not required.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive patient care while ensuring safety and maintaining professional standards.
