Call for applications : Higher Education Bridging Certificate

The Academic Registrar, Kabale University, invites applicants who wish to be considered for admission to the Higher Education Bridging Certificate. This is a one-year full‑time intensive certificate programme that provides an opportunity to access university education for science students who did not meet set Entry Requirements.

It bridges the gap that caused the insufficient scores in UACE examinations by enhancing the knowledge in essential subjects required for entry into degree programmes on offer. Upon successful completion, depending on individual performance, a student can enroll for a degree programme in a relevant science field.

Eligibility

• UACE with at least subsidiary scores in any two of the following principal subjects : Physics , Mathematics , Biology , Agriculture , Chemistry .
• UCE credits in the subjects that constituted the UACE subject combination.
