Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike
As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government-focused location. Your role will involve conducting routine bike and foot patrols to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to those in the area. You will remain visible and approachable, supporting a welcoming environment while upholding the values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as they relate to security-related duties at the location.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate or unlawful behavior within the assigned area.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and / or designated checkpoints as required by site procedures.Complete necessary reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal.What We're Looking For :

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.Be able to ride a bike as part of post duties.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
