About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nuclear Maintenance and Technical Training Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear power plant maintenance and technical operations, with specific experience in AP1000 reactor systems, along with extensive experience in training and instructional design. This position will ensure that our training programs meet the standards established by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver comprehensive training programs for nuclear maintenance and technical personnel.
Design and develop detailed course content, ensuring that all instructional materials are accurate, engaging, and adhere to regulatory standards.
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and provide solutions.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear maintenance, technical operations, or related field within a commercial nuclear power plant.
Strong knowledge of nuclear power plant maintenance systems, equipment, and operations.
Experience with AP1000 reactor maintenance and operational procedures.
Benefits
Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $121,000 - $143,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
