Job Summary
The Non-CDL Driver transports eggs and / or live fowl for the hatchery and provides loading / unloading assistance when needed.
General Responsibilities
- Delivers day-old chicks to Post Office locations
- Transports other fowl to the hatchery from various locations
- Rides along with other drivers to load and unload day-old chicks
- Participates in loading and unloadingtruck
- Precisely finishes all paperwork connected with conveyance ofmerchandise
- Guarantees products are protected and secured
- Is polite and professional in all customer and vendor interactions
- Ensures timely conveyance of materials to and from places as instructed by manager
- Removes all trash and personal belongings from the truck at the end of trip / shift
- Obeys all traffic laws including wearing seat belts
- Adheres to biosecurity protocols
- Carries out routine checks on vehicles and ensures they are sound
- Recognizes all mechanical faults and reports to the manager
- Keeps all records including fuel and vehicle maintenance receipts
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
