Staff Engineer - Payments Platform

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer - Payments Platform (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure payment systems with real-time fraud detection

Design data pipelines and analytics frameworks to monitor transaction health and optimize payment performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a technical roadmap for payment modernization

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

6+ years of experience designing complex systems, data pipelines, and architectures

Fluency in at least two modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#

10+ years in software development, platform architecture, or infrastructure management

Deep expertise in SQL and both open-source and NoSQL databases
