Anthropologie Home Associate Designer Textiles - Pillows & Throws

Role Summary

Anthropologie Home is hiring an Associate Designer on the Textiles team to support Pillows & Throws. The Associate Designer for Home Textiles will support the creation and development of original designs that embody Anthropologie's brand identity. This role combines creativity, technical execution, and collaborative leadership. The Associate Designer is expected to contribute to innovative design solutions, mentor junior team members, and balance artistry with business needs, ensuring our customer finds unique product they cannot find anywhere else.

Role Responsibilities

• Creative Design & Execution :
• Interpret design inspiration to create original artwork for pillows and throws across diverse techniques and styles, resulting in unique and customer-centric products.
• Digitize and manipulate artwork to meet specific product requirements.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of pillows and throws construction, materials, and techniques across various categories.
• Apply color theory principles to product design.
• Utilize design tools and technology effectively.
• Product Development & Collaboration :
• Strong Communication across the Designers and cross functional partners.
• Maintaining product integrity from design creation through end stages of approval process.
• Partner with PD team to ensure accurate design briefs and alignment with vendor capabilities.
• Assist in the creation of design documents, such as assortment sheets.
• Support the team with tasks such as pinning boards, organizing design tools, and replenishing supplies.
• Contribute to the sample and strike-off review process, under manager supervision.
• Design with consideration for price points and business needs.
• Process & Organization :
• Maintain an organized and accessible design library and shared workspaces.
• Deliver information promptly to ensure adherence to deadlines and prevent delays.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
