Position OverviewJoin an ACGME-accredited, unopposed 6-6-6 Family Medicine Residency Program with a strong academic and population health focus. This physician-led organization is known for its supportive teaching environment, clinical excellence, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities
Faculty member will work closely with the Program Director, 7 faculty physicians, and 1 behavioralist
Leadership, mentorship, and supervision of Family Medicine residents
Inpatient responsibilities : Hospital rounds with FMS resident team
Outpatient responsibilities : Precepting residents in clinic and providing direct patient care
Teaching medical students from partnering institutions Practice Details
Program includes a 2-2-2 rural track in Alpena
Strong emphasis on population health and community-based care
Known as a state leader in Family Medicine education Schedule
MondayFriday, traditional hours (some flexibility)
Call : 1 : 9, shared weekends and holidays Clinical Scope
Full-spectrum Family Medicine : Preventive care, acute / chronic illness management, across the lifespan Candidate Requirements
MD or DO (U.S. or foreign equivalent)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency
Eligible for unrestricted Michigan license and Controlled Substance License Reason for Recruitment
