Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School District in Liberal, KS is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve PreK students in a resource room setting for a full semester contract. This position involves managing a caseload of approximately 20 students with individualized education programs (IEPs), offering specialized support to meet their unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for PreK students in a resource room environment.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals who provide push-in and pull-out services aligned with IEP minutes.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction based on individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student development.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and growth.

Qualifications :

Location : Liberal, Kansas

Contract Duration : July 31, 2025 May 20, 2026

Hours : Approximately 30-35 hours per week

Student Caseload : Approximately 20 PreK students
