The Pennsylvania Game Commission is offering an exciting position for an Information Technology Generalist 2 working out of the Northeast Regional Office in Dallas, Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to service the PC and network needs of the Northeastern part of the state, the remainder of the agency's regional offices, game lands, and Harrisburg. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Information Technology (IT) Generalist 2, you will be considered an agency IT Specialist. You will configure, install, and provide support for the PGC's Utility Mobile Access Platform (Rocket) in support of the agency's Law Enforcement Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. You can expect to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and communication issues in addition to troubleshooting connectivity to in-house Dashboard systems. You will have the opportunity to provide remote technical guidance to Game Wardens to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Wireless Access Point / router network performance problems. This position monitors, reports, corrects and initiates follow-up on all end-user data telecommunication problems reported on the PGC Help Desk.
