Fiber Engineer

A company is looking for a Fiber Engineer to support the development and maintenance of fiber network designs.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain fiber network and conduit designs using GIS / CAD tools

Translate survey data into construction-ready drawings and documentation

Conduct QA / QC reviews of vendor-provided designs for accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or fiber network design

Proficiency in geospatial and design software such as IQGeo, AutoCAD, or ArcGIS

Strong knowledge of fiber network architecture and as-built documentation processes

Experience performing QA / QC on design submittals from vendors or subcontractors
