The salary range for this position is $280,000 - $340,000 annually. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan .

Position description

The University of California, Davis School of Medicine, UC Davis Eye Center, is seeking a full-time faculty member with special expertise in Neuro-Ophthalmology. This position will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The position is designed for an individual who will be active in clinical care and education. The candidate must have an MD, DO, or MD / PhD, be board certified in Neurology or Ophthalmology, possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of California, completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship, have teaching experience, and clinical care experience in neuro-ophthalmology. Additionally, award achievements in outstanding clinical care and published work in relation to neuro-ophthalmology are preferred. Responsibilities include : clinical patient care, teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows; and university service. This recruitment is conducted at the assistant / associate rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant / associate rank, regardless of the proposed appointee's qualifications.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

• Board certified or eligible
• Eligible for licensure in the state of California
• Completed a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship or equivalent by date of hire
• Teaching experience
• Clinical care experience in the specialty of Neuro-Ophthalmology
