transplant patients in North Shore University Hospital located in

Manhasset, NY, as well as in the outpatient setting, including a

rotation at an affiliated lab for intensive training in

immunogenetics. The fellow will be involved in transplant candidate

longitudinal post-transplant management. In addition, the Northwell

Health Transplant Institute has robust heart, lung, and liver

transplant programs. Fellows will be involved in selecting

candidates for multiorgan transplantation and management of these

complex recipients. Training also involves transplant

nephropathology and research opportunities. By the end of training,

the fellow will meet criteria for UNOS certification as a

transplant nephrologist and as a medical director of a kidney

transplant program.
