Job descriptionMay 22 (7a) – May 26 (7a) July – Double booking available Mon–Thu (weekly), starting June 30 August – Wide open for scheduling Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : 25–30 deliveries per month; approximately 405 deliveries per year; 3,777 patients annually (entire hospital) Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : No Case Mix : Obstetrics and Gynecology (bread-and-butter cases) Trauma Level : Adult Level IV Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Coverage Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : No Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 30–90 days with active license Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Deliveries C-sections Licenses : Active Arkansas license required (not willing to license) Board : BC / BE in Obstetrics / Gynecology DEA : Active DEA required Certifications : ACLS and BLS required; Arkansas Medicaid Number required Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty Other Qualifications : Minimal malpractice history preferred Provide 24-hour call coverage for labor and delivery Perform deliveries, including C-sections and routine obstetric cases Manage inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care Collaborate with facility staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Adhere to hospital policies, credentialing, and compliance requirements
