Poplar Springs Hospital, situated in Petersburg, VA seeks a Physician for medical services catering to inpatient psychiatry. We consider Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Hospitalist physicians for this position. Responsibilities include conducting medical histories & physicals, consultations, follow-ups for inpatient psychiatry patients and oversight of NPs.

The ideal candidate will be able to work either full-time or Part-time work schedule with day shift hours, with weekend call once per month. We prefer candidates with experience or a strong interest in Behavioral Health.

Position Focus :

This role emphasizes addressing the medical aspects of psychiatric patients rather than purely psychiatric issues.
