CNC Operator -Third Shift (7 pm-5 am)

The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION :

• Operate press brakes, punches, and laser punch machines to manufacture high-quality products according to production schedules and specifications.
• Set up machines, tools, and materials for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operation throughout the shift to identify potential issues and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications. Make adjustments to equipment as necessary to maintain consistent quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or potential hazards immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered during operation.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range :

$20.00-$25.00 per hour

This position is eligible for a shift differential.
