American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with an active Alaska RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospitalAssignments are offered for 13 or 26 weeks, based on clinician's choiceDay shifts with 4x10 hour schedule, from 7 : 00 to 17 : 00On-call required one day per week and 4th / 5th weekend (Friday 18 : 00 to Monday 07 : 30)Approximately one Saturday per month is scheduled as part of the 4 shifts per weekMay float within scope to EP or IR units and between affiliate hospitals as neededEpic is used for charting and prior Epic experience is requiredScrubs are provided by the facilityMust reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for considerationRNs are expected to float within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals in the state as neededAvailability to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) is requiredFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyPre-start and annual online training modules are required and usually completed in about 16 hoursOnly Hepatitis B vaccination is accepted as proof of immunity; titers or declinations are not acceptedParking is free at the facility\n \n Requirements\n
Active Alaska RN license required at time of offer (pending license accepted for consideration)Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredPrevious Epic charting experience requiredMust provide at least 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years within a comparable specialtyNot open to local candidates; must have permanent address at least 50 miles from the facilityFormer permanent staff must have a minimum 3-month separation from facility before returning as a travelerTravelers are limited to a maximum of 1 calendar year per assignment, followed by a 6-month break before returning\n Benefits\n
