A Brief Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of occupational therapy services. Your focus will be on implementing tailored treatment programs for individual patients and groups, all while adhering to the principles of occupational therapy.

What You Will Do

  • Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific factors and perform effectively with patients from infants to geriatrics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on thorough evaluations.
  • Utilize selected activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in various functional settings.
  • Plan therapy in alignment with the patient’s physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Build rapport and collaborate with team members throughout the intervention process.
  • Enhance your professional growth through educational programs and workshops.
  • Participate in the development of departmental programs.

Essential Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice upon hire.

  • 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
