Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) – Gettysburg, PA

Location : Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Position Type : Per Diem / Contract

Shift : 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Pay Rate Breakdown :

  • W2 Pay : $220.68 (taxable)
  • Stipend : $360.00 (non-taxable for housing & meals)
  • Total Pay Per Shift : $580.68

Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a per diem basis in Gettysburg, PA. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrate clinical excellence, and adapt quickly to different units as needed. This role offers flexibility along with competitive pay and stipends for travel professionals.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and facility policies.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and electronic health records.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.

    • Requirements :

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact license).
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute or specialty care setting.
  • Current BLS certification (additional certifications like ACLS, PALS may be preferred).
  • Strong communication, time management, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Flexibility to work various units or floating if needed.

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Hourly W2 Rate : $18.39 / hr (taxable)
  • Hourly Stipend : $30 / hr (non-taxable for housing / meals)
  • Total : $48.39 / hr (approx. $580 per 12-hour shift)
