Investment Analyst - Hybrid

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Investment Analyst , Multi-Sector!

About the role

This role will support the continued growth of Symetra Investment Management's (SIM) investment portfolio working closely with the investment team to oversee the day-to-day management of the affiliated general account portfolios along with maintaining / improving the platform of investing tools to analyze portfolio strategies.

This is a hybrid work role based in Farmington Connecticut.

What you will do

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the affiliated general account and unaffiliated client portfolios and maintain / improve platform of investing tools.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance investment processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline workflows and optimize investment decision-making.
• Keep apprised of emerging industry trends and themes in insurance asset management and perform ad-hoc research projects, in pursuit of portfolio enhancement, as needed.
• Work with internal reporting professionals to develop and enhance reporting relating to portfolio positioning and performance.

Compensation

Salary Range : $93,900 - $156,600 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
