Loan Document Specialist

Job Description

The Home Loan Specialist is an entry‑level role supporting multiple business channels within the mortgage organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient loan processing activities while delivering high‑quality service to internal partners and customers. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to build a career in the mortgage and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine data entry and data validation tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Initiate and track third‑party orders , including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit reports
• Review and validate loan documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
• Respond to routine inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and / or chat
• Monitor assigned work queues and escalate or intervene as necessary to meet service level expectations
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s culture, values, and customer‑first mindset
