Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job ID : T4H - 914 Job Summary : Provides professional nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab by utilizing critical thinking, the nursing process, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities : Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to provide patient-centered care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. Perform assessments, plan interventions, implement care, and evaluate patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments per approved nursing standards, policies, and state practice acts. Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation per system and entity standards. Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care; provide patient and family education. Participate in unit / department performance improvement activities, including shared governance. Provide clinical guidance and support to other units / departments to maintain continuity of care. Manage complex situations, delegate appropriately, and escalate issues through the proper chain of command. Promote a positive professional and organizational environment. Engage in personal and professional development; contribute to evidence-based practice guideline development. Participate in peer review, feedback, and the professional nursing continuum. For Clinic and Ambulatory RNs : maintain patient flow, respond to telephone calls, and perform triage. Requirements : Experience : Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in critical care. Cardiovascular intervention experience required.
