Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for General Laborers in Maumee, OH. As a General Laborer for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations in the agricultural industry. General Laborers are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include : Monday-Thursday 8 : 00 pm-6 : 30 am. Possible overtime on Fridays. No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Responsibilities of the General Laborers include : operating tools, machinery, and equipment to produce goods and materials; lifting 50 lbs consistently during shift; ability to work outside and in a dusty environment; following instructions and adhering to all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures; maintaining a clean work area throughout the shift to ensure a safe work environment; preparing and maintaining materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production; working with the entire production team to assist with manufacturing products from beginning to end; ensuring that all completed products are packaged and materials are correct according to product specifications.

Required Qualifications of the General Laborers include : previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required; high attention to detail and safety / compliance; demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement; ability to work overtime as needed.
