Referral Coordinator

A company is looking for a Referrals Coordinator - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate patient referrals and serve as the primary liaison between patients and referral specialists

Assist patients in understanding their insurance plans and navigate care options

Document interactions and maintain confidentiality while managing patient records and prior authorizations

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical navigator role

Experience with insurance plans, precertification, and referral management

Knowledge of medical terminology, procedural coding, and HIPAA standards

Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365

Ability to work remotely in a secure and distraction-free environment
