In the Business Analyst role at MOFC, you will take charge of backlog management by owning and refining the product backlog, ensuring that epics and user stories are clearly defined and prioritized in alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities include optimizing our Jira workflows for efficient sprint planning and tracking to support effective retrospectives. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring delivery readiness. Additionally, you will proactively identify and eliminate blockers by clarifying requirements, aligning stakeholders, and resolving dependencies. Engaging stakeholders through demos and insightful release notes will also be part of your role.
Enhancing your analysis capabilities with AI tools, you will draft user stories, analyze customer feedback, generate test scenarios, and summarize sprint outcomes for executive reporting, driving innovative solutions that impact our mission.
To excel as a Business Analyst at MOFC, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments is required, with demonstrated proficiency in writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Familiarity with platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise SaaS environments is preferred, along with experience using tools like Figma, Asana, or Miro. Strong proficiency in Jira, including the ability to customize fields, workflows, dashboards, and filters, is crucial. Additionally, candidates should be skilled in Microsoft Office/Office 365 and have a working knowledge of AI tools to enhance business analysis tasks.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are vital, as they will be instrumental in fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across all teams involved in the product development process.
