Community Progress Council is seeking a dedicated, Bilingual Self-Sufficiency Coach to join our mission-driven team in York, PA. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be a catalyst for meaningful change in the lives of individuals and families striving for independence.

In this dynamic and impactful role, you’ll serve as a vital connector between our agency, the community, and the clients we support. Through personalized coaching and strategic guidance, you’ll empower individuals to overcome barriers and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

Guided by insights from the Community Needs Assessment, you’ll identify service gaps and contribute to innovative, community-centered solutions. You’ll also cultivate strong partnerships with local organizations and CPC programs, helping to build a robust support network that drives transformation across York County.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and promote CPC’s mission, vision, and core values.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners to coordinate services and referrals.
• Stay informed on community needs to guide service delivery and identify program opportunities.
• Co-facilitate group learning sessions using the Getting Ahead in a Just-Getting-By World curriculum.
• Provide individualized coaching rooted in Family Centered Coaching principles to support client self-sufficiency.
• Conduct client assessments using the Self-Sufficiency Scale to identify strengths, barriers, and resource needs.
• Guide clients in goal setting, decision-making, budgeting, education, and employment planning.
• Deliver coaching in accessible, client-friendly locations and maintain accurate documentation.
• Serve as a mentor and advocate, ensuring timely and confidential access to services.
• Submit reports and represent CPC in community and stakeholder engagements.
• Participate in training, committees, and organizational development activities.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support CPC’s mission.
