This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Nurses must demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition, and contribute to safe, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, assessments, interventions, and evaluations. Monitor patients for changes in condition, including cardiac dysrhythmias. Utilize Meditech Expanse (preferred) for electronic documentation and care coordination. Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status, treatment plans, and safety concerns. Participate in unit-based activities and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
