Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Olathe, Kansas (66061) – Kansas nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Telemetry Unit (Unit 5North)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : December 14, 2025

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1850 - $1990

Weekend Rotation : Required

Holiday Rotation : Required (must work one day from each major holiday)

Floating : Float to all acute care units

Orientation : Comprehensive, multi-day orientation including Epic EMR training

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Kansas RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Kansas

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience

Experience with TR Band post-procedure

Proficient in Cardiac Drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem)

Familiarity with Tikosyn / Sotalol initiation process

BLS & ACLS certifications required

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Preferred : 2-5 years of Telemetry nursing experience

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer cardiac medications and drips according to clinical protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Float to other acute care units as needed

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations

Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
