• Serve as host routinely during the summer camping season.
• Host school season groups with proactive communication, troubleshooting, program and ride support.

• Physical ability to perform duties of Challenge Course Operator Job Specific Working Conditions : The Housekeeping Specialist I supports the mission of Young Life by providing exceptional cleanliness, organization, and hospitality in key areas of camp : volunteer condos, Lost & Found systems, and specialty housing units. This role ensures that these spaces are clean, welcoming, and efficiently managed to enhance the experience of volunteers, staff, and guests. The specialist will maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and communication while working closely with other members of the property and guest services teams. ### Volunteer Condos & Specialty Housing
• Clean, organize, and restock volunteer condos and specialty housing lodges on a regular schedule or as needed.
• Conduct inspections prior to guest arrival and after departure to ensure spaces meet Young Life standards.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to schedule support for quick turnarounds during high-traffic seasons.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and hospitality items for these units.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.### Lost & Found System Management
• Oversee the collection, cataloging, storage, and retrieval of lost items throughout camp.
• Maintain our clear and efficient Lost & Found tracking system, including labeling, logging, and communication protocols.
• Respond to lost item inquiries from guests and staff in a timely, courteous manner.
• Coordinate periodic donation or disposal of unclaimed items according to camp policy.### General Housekeeping
• Support broader housekeeping operations during peak seasons or special events.
• Participate in deep cleaning projects, laundry duties, or other housekeeping needs as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow all health and safety guidelines. Notes : Young Life is a relational ministry. Staff must be able to convey a sense of Christ-like hospitality and concern for guests and staff. Responding to the unexpected needs of a guest in a prompt and professional manner is important.
