As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine armed patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving and armed position involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.
  • Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors, addressing questions and providing information as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Handle access control responsibilities, verifying identification and permissions for entry where required by location protocols.
  • Maintain and carry assigned firearms in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies, using them only as authorized and trained.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
