We are committed to world-class quality, ISO 13485 standards, and investing in our team. We are currently seeking an expert leader to manage and grow our state-of-the-art Swiss CNC machining department.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on, metrics-driven SWISS CNC Department Operations Manager to lead our high-performing Swiss turning team. This is a critical "player-coach" role, requiring both deep technical expertise in Swiss-style machining for medical devices and proven leadership skills.
You will be responsible for the entire department's performance, including daily production, quality, on-time delivery, efficiency, and team development. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in Swiss CNC setup and programming who understands the unique demands of machining dental implants and components and is ready to mentor a team, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

- Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting : Serve as the department's technical expert. Troubleshoot complex setup, programming, and machining issues, particularly with the tight tolerances, thread forms, and unique geometries common to dental implants.
- Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. Analyze and optimize setups, cycle times, and tooling to reduce costs, increase OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and ensure process capability (Cpk).
- Quality Assurance : Uphold and enforce stringent ISO 13485 quality standards. Work closely with the Quality department to implement in-process inspection, validation (IQ / OQ / PQ), reduce scrap, and resolve any non-conformances using a formal CAPA process.
- Resource Management : Manage tooling, material, and supply needs for the department. Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure all machines are on a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Reporting & KPIs : Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, scrap rates, and efficiency.
