Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist attending position at CHRISTUS Children's. This position includes a faculty appointment, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package. The rank of the academic appointment will be based on the candidate’s credentials and experience.

Job Duties

The anesthesiologist will provide clinical anesthesia services for a variety of congenital and non-congenital cardiac procedures, including neonatal and complex heart surgeries, cardiac catheterization, advanced imaging, and non-cardiac procedures in children with congenital heart disease. Anesthesiologists may also provide anesthesia services for General and OB Anesthesiology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be eligible to hold an unrestricted Texas medical license
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesia and Pediatric Anesthesia
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia or more than 5 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia in a center with over 100 pump cases per year
