Engine Test and Validation Engineer

Position Title : Engine Test and Validation Engineer

Location : Middletown, CT. (onsite)

Only GC / US Citizen and Shift Timings - 2nd shift (2pm / 3pm to 10pm / 11pm Mon - Fri)

Job Description :

In this role, you will be working alongside OEM customer teams performing engineering validation tasks supporting aircraft engine development, testing and certification.

Responsibilities

Coordinate engine test and / or assembly / tear-down actions between the technicians and IPT / Engineering groups.

Communicate technical issues to IPT / Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions

Collect and report flight test data and / or engine assembly / disassembly status to IPT / Engineering groups

Local candidates in Connecticut required. Variable shift work sometimes required

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

BS in Engineering or associate degree with relevant work experience

2+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities

Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly

Familiar with engine work instructions, part / assembly drawings and materials lists

Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint

Active security clearance preferred but not required
