PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT :

Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operational skills related to heavy equipment.
  • Professional and quality work completed on customer fields without damage to equipment or property.
  • Proper care and maintenance of equipment entrusted to the employee.
  • Ability to correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application.
  • Communication skills with managers, coworkers at the location, and customers in the area where work is to be done.
  • Ability to run monitor software in application equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides.
  • HazMat endorsement on driver's license if handling such chemicals.
  • Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Wage dependent on years of experience and history of quality work.

    FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Operational skills involving hydraulics and air brakes.
  • Software and GPS mapping systems pertaining to the piece of equipment to be run.
  • Ability to diagnose basic issues with the machinery and / or software.
