Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the America's Operational Finance function. These duties include working with all business units in the Nilfisk Americas Region to ensure the timely completion of period end close, GL accounting, business unit reporting, and ad-hoc project requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Accounting and Month End Responsibilities

• Proactively corresponds and follows up with other departments concerning requests for financial information, procedures, etc
• Reviews operating expenses and trial balance, summarizes findings and advises management
• Supports finance staff on group reporting requirements
• Completes internal reporting needs (budget vs. actual reports, scorecards, management comments, presentations for internal management meetings and others as assigned)
• Account Reconciliation completion and clean up
• Special Projects - Data clean up for SAP migration

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION : B.A. degree in Finance or Accounting, required.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in accounting and financial analysis
