Inpatient Endocrinologist Responsibilities :

Provide consultative inpatient endocrine care for a diverse patient population.

Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists to manage endocrine conditions in hospitalized patients.

Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee transitions of care from inpatient to outpatient settings.

Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives .

Stay current with the latest advancements in endocrinology to deliver evidence-based care .

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : MD / DO degree from an accredited institution. Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

Experience : Open to both new graduates and experienced endocrinologists. Inpatient experience is a plus.

Licensure : Current unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).

Work Schedule & Locations :

Shifts : Monday - Friday, with a 1 : 9 on-call rotation .

Locations : Inova's hospitals and clinics across Northern Virginia.
