Experience : Minimum 2 years with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience

License : Registered Nurse License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Critical patient assessment skills
• Vasoactive and sedation drug administration
• Sterile technique
• Air management
• Laser and lithotripsy atherectomy
• Cardiac Cath lab and peripheral IV skills

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The candidate must have comprehensive experience in coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, peripheral stenosis, thrombosis disease, Impella insertion, and LVAD insertions.

Patient ratios will be 1 : 1.

The role demands proficiency in using devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra.

The Registered Nurse must be capable of recognizing and treating arrhythmias and possess critical patient assessment skills.

There will be a requirement to be on call for 1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend.

This position does not involve floating to interventional radiology as those departments are separate.

The charting system used is EPIC, with preference given to candidates familiar with Epic Cupid.

The candidate must be willing to rotate weekends every four weeks and may be expected to work on holidays during their assignment.

Approval of time off must go through management.
