Job Summary :

Salas O'Brien is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to implement energy consulting and commissioning services for large institutional clients.

In this role, you will :

• Prepare commissioning plans
• Review commissioning specifications
• Review equipment submittals and controls sequences of operation
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional test procedures
• Conduct equipment installation and construction site inspections
• Prepare and issue construction field reports
• Execute and witness performance functional testing
• Develop and maintain commissioning documentation including issues log, systems manual and commissioning report
• Conduct Point to Point Testing
• Conduct Sensor Calibration Testing
• Conduct onsite QAQC equipment and controls wiring inspections
• Conduct retro-commissioning of existing buildings for NYC Local Law 87 compliance
• Support energy audits and detailed feasibility studies
• Provide troubleshooting and facilities support assistance

This is a full-time position. Benefits include a health insurance plan, a 401K profit sharing plan, and PTO. The position offers competitive compensation with an anticipated annual salary range of $70,000-$90,000, based on candidate experience.
