Experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Montgomery Automotive Group is a leading group of dealerships in the area and is currently hiring experienced mechanics / automotive technicians. As a mechanic / automotive technician you can expect to complete basic maintenance services and to be motivated, hard-working, and want to continue your career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry and is able to stand, lift, and be on their feet for long periods of time.

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities :

Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc.

Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership quality standards.

Comply with company safety policies and procedures.

Communicate directly with service advisors and foreman regarding the status of the service work.

Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications :

1+ years automotive technician / mechanic experience.

Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.).

Strong automotive knowledge.

Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order.

Valid Drivers License.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
