About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Medical Executive to join our executive leadership team. As a pivotal figure in our clinical initiatives, you will focus on enhancing quality, safety, and overall patient and physician satisfaction. You will also be tasked with managing costs and improving care coordination. This role requires a physician executive with significant experience in quality and safety and a strong background in physician leadership, particularly in an acute care environment.

As Chief Medical Executive, you will oversee various aspects such as physician relations, medical staff communications, and providing clinical insights to strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a clinical physician, with at least 7 years in a leadership position, and must be a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.

Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, and a management philosophy that prioritizes integrity and respect are essential. You should also have a background in statistical analysis, clinical epidemiology, and best practices, with a strong capability to utilize data effectively.

Preferred qualifications include certification as a Physician Executive (CPE) or other advanced physician leadership certification. The successful candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities, adept at navigating the organization through growth, change, and expansion, and must align with our core values.
