Job Position Description :

Community Action is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Program Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of our Housing and Stability Services Program, providing essential administrative and program management support. You will ensure the accuracy and completeness of program documentation, monitor compliance with funder standards, and assist with developing and implementing program policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent time management skills, and is committed to supporting our mission to serve the community.

Abbreviated Duties List :

  • Provide clerical support, including record keeping and managing spreadsheets.
  • Perform data entry and information management in various databases.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to summarize key program data.
  • Support supervisors in quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure data entry is accurate and complete, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Process and ensure the timely and accurate handling of rental assistance applications.
  • Identify error patterns and advise leadership on process improvements or training needs.
  • Maintain and update workflow systems and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.

Abbreviated Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of six months of experience in data management and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (including formulas and tables).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • What Will Make You Stand Out :

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (both oral and written).
  • Experience in social service programs serving low-income individuals.
  • Detailed knowledge of data systems, such as ServicePoint.
