HP Print Operator – 1st Shift

Location : Liverpool, NY

Shift : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Pay : $25.77 per hour

Job Overview

The HP Print Operator plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality digital printing operations, primarily working with  HP IQHD - HP1 Printers. This position supports daily production goals through attention to detail, equipment care, and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret order specifications, setups, and special instructions accurately.
  • Operate and maintain digital printing equipment per established procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections and report repair or replacement needs.
  • Monitor work-in-process and ensure jobs meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Complete required quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels for materials and supplies.
  • Use raw materials efficiently and responsibly.
  • Follow autonomous maintenance routines and assist with equipment upkeep.
  • Participate in continuous improvement (ELS, Kaizen) and 5S workplace organization activities.

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and technical aptitude.
  • Proficient in basic math and comfortable using computers and email.
  • Must be motivated to improve productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to earn required certifications within set timeframes
  • Preferred :

    • Pre-press knowledge

  • Digital printing experience, especially with HP printers
  • HP 7K / 6600 Level 1 or 2 Certification
  • Hazardous materials training
