Facilities & Maintenance Technician

Role Mission : Reporting to the campus Operations Manager, the Facilities & Maintenance Technician is a vital member of the operations team working to ensure our facilities are prepared to run high-performing schools. The Facilities & Maintenance Technician will lead on maintenance and custodial responsibilities to ensure these areas meet a high standard of operational excellence and enable instructional leaders and staff to focus on driving strong student achievement outcomes. This is a full-time position.

Accountabilities

Maintenance :

• Survey the building's mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems and report any necessary repairs to the Managing Director of Operations (MDO).
• Coordinate with MDO, custodial staff, and outside vendors to maintain a safe, welcoming, and clean facility.
• Perform essential maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.).
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, broken furniture, etc.).
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.).
• Other facilities and maintenance duties as assigned.

Education : HS diploma or GED required

Experience :

Compensation :

Salary range : $29,000-44,000 (commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications).
